We don’t make boxes. We create conservation pieces — handcrafted, one at a time, to hold what cannot be replaced. 

Each creation is fully bespoke and worked entirely by hand, with a level of detail only handcraftsmanship can achieve. Our attention to beauty is uncompromising — yet it never comes at the expense of conservation integrity. Quite the opposite: we work only with premium, conservation-grade materials, so that beauty and protection are never a trade-off. Every detail serves its first purpose — to protect. 

The result is a box that is, at once, an heirloom vault and a singular work of craftsmanship — as unique as the dress it holds.

We believe a wedding dress doesn’t end the day it’s worn. It goes on existing — in how it’s kept, how it’s remembered, and, one day, in how it’s passed on: to a daughter, a granddaughter, or simply to the future of the bride who wore it.

The box

Unlike ordinary cardboard or plastic packaging, our museum-grade boxes create a fully acid-free environment — slowing the chemical processes that damage fabric and keeping your dress safe for decades to come.

The key advantages of a genuine preservation box:

• • Prevents yellowing.
    Ordinary cardboard and untreated paper contain lignin, a naturally occurring compound in wood that releases acids over time — acids that discolor fabric. Because our boxes are entirely acid-free, that reaction never begins, and your dress keeps its original color.
  • Guards against mold and mildew.
    Proper airflow is built into the design, protecting delicate fabrics — silk, lace, embroidery — from the effects of humidity over time.
  • Shields against light and dust.
    Prolonged exposure to light and dust causes permanent discoloration and accelerates the oxidation of stains. Our boxes seal securely, blocking UV rays and keeping out particles and pollutants.
  • Preserves the dress’s shape.
    Paired with acid-free, pH-neutral tissue paper, the box supports the gown correctly, preventing the deep, permanent creasing delicate fabrics are prone to.
  • Protects against pests.
    Airtight lids keep out moths and other fabric-feeding insects — with no toxic chemicals involved.

All other materials

Every component used in the construction and lining of the box is selected according to best practices in preventive conservation, ensuring complete safety for what’s preserved inside:

• • Adhesives are acid-free, pH-neutral, and archival-safe — bonding securely without compromising the contents or the structure’s breathability.
  • The exterior liningis free of harmful compounds and allows for proper airflow, actively supporting preservation.
  • The packing tissue paperis acid-free and pH-neutral, meeting the requirements of the Photographic Activity Test (PAT) under ISO 18916 — safe for prolonged contact with sensitive materials.
